2005-2016

We said our goodbyes to Dakota on September 6, as a fast-moving and inoperable tumor had invaded her vena cava vein and started blocking the return of blood to her heart. We were fortunate to have some warning and enjoyed several days together living and loving.

This is a tribute to her life and the many people she touched. Somewhere there is a wedding album with her picture with the bridal party in Carmel, and she’s a star online in an asian tourist’s video at Old Faithful in Yellowstone Park. She was a “calendar girl” for an animal rescue in Pleasanton, and was seen in pictures with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

Thank you for bringing us your unconditional love.

What a wonderful tribute to the sweetest girl I was fortunate to know and have in my life. Tears and smiles flow as I look at all of her pictures. She was always happy and loved everyone. Something we all could learn to do. 🙂 You'll be in my heart forever.
